In compliance with the Spanish constitutional Act 15/99 of December 13th on the protection of personal data, the Ilustre Consejo de Colegios Veterinarios de Canarias (from now on the Association) will apply all the necessary measures to guarantee the security, the integrity and the privacy of the data provided in the forms available in the website www.zoocan.net (hereinafter, the website).

The Organización Colegial Veterinaria de Canarias confirms the existence of the personal database known as Zoocan. On this database, the information of the forms will be provided voluntarily. In accordance with the Identification Regulations of the Colegios Oficiales de Veterinarios de Canarias, the users can use other identification methods provided by the law if they do not want to provide personal information. At any moment, they can exercise their rights of access, rectification, cancellation and objection by contacting the database owner.

The database’s owner is the Organización Colegial Veterinaria de Canarias, which is formed by the Consejo Regional de Colegios Oficiales de Veterinarios de Canarias, the Colegio Oficial de Veterinarios de Las Palmas (Luis Doreste Silva, 30-bis, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria) and the Colegio Oficial de Veterinarios de Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Comandante Sánchez Pinto, 7, Santa Cruz de Tenerife). They are in agreement with the article 5 of the Spanish constitutional Act 15/1999 of December 13th on the protection of personal data.

The provided information will be used only for its addition in the animal identification database Zoocan in compliance with the article 4 of the Spanish constitutional Act 15/1999 of December 13th on the protection of personal data. No additional use will be given to the provided information.

The collected data will be also included in local, national, European and/or international databases.

The collected data may also be given exclusively to national, autonomous and local public administration bodies and the Organización Colegial Veterinaria Española. This process will be in compliance with the data privacy offered by the Spanish constitutional Act 15/1999 of December 13th on the protection of personal data.

The data provider allows the data migration according to the aforementioned terms by signing off these terms.
